Iman Hein has been playing the cello for 25 years. He began his music career studying the Suzuki Method and has studied with a number of Seattle area teachers. He was the third chair cello in the Shorecrest String Orchestra and Principal Cello in the Garfield High School Symphonic Orchestra. While at Shorecrest, he attended the Seattle Conservatory of Music, and while at Garfield, the Meadowmount School of Music, Summer School for Strings and Marrowstone at Western Washington University. He has won numerous awards and Honorable Mentions with the Young Artist Competition. He is currently the Principal Cello of the Rain City Symphony.
